Since ticket sales cover only a portion of Chorale expenses, community financial support is vital.  We depend on donations to pay for music, professional leadership and management, orchestral accompaniment, performance venues, concert programs, and other necessary production expenses.  In addition, we incur routine year-round business expenses for postage, insurance, auditing, and administration.

Chorale Endowment Fund

A more lasting way to support the Chorale is by giving to the Chorale Endowment Fund. The Board of Fort Smith Chorale has established an endowment fund so that we may offer high quality vocal music to our area for many years to come.

Our fund is placed with and administered by the Fort Smith Area Community Foundation, which is affiliated with the Arkansas Community Foundation. You may also wish to consider remembering the Chorale Endowment Fund as part of your estate planning.

Please consider a generous gift to the Chorale.  We gratefully acknowledge donors in the concert programs.  If you do not wish your name to be listed, please contact the Chorale office.

The Chorale also welcomes employer matching programs. Please indicate if your gift will be matched by your employer. Your personnel office will provide you with the necessary information and forms. In addition, we offer advertising space in our concert programs. For specific information about sizes and price, please call the Chorale office at 479-242-7464 (SING). Please remember, all contributions to the Fort Smith Chorale are tax deductible. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and do not receive United Way funding.

Program Advertising Rates

Part of the way the Fort Smith Chorale is able to cover the costs of rehearsal and performance space is through the sales of paid advertising in our concert programs. A single page in our program measures approximately 8" by 7". If you would like to advertise in our programs, here is the base information you need to begin the process.

The Chorale offers four different packages for advertisements in our programs:

• • 1/2 page - $225
• • 1/4 page - $175
• • 1/8 page (business card size) - $125

Rates are for one year of concerts, which includes a minimum of two concerts. A full page in the concert program measures 8” x 7”. All advertisements must be in electronic format/grayscale as we do not do any color processing in our programs. Any copy must be provided camera-ready.

To begin the process of getting your advertisement in our concert programs, contact our advertising coordinator at info@FortSmithChorale.com, ATTN: Advertising.   Include the name of the organization or business, your name, your contact information, and the size of advertisement you would like to purchase.

The 2009-2010 season includes our annual Christmas concert, Carols by Candlelight, and the spring concert, Life and Death.
